Kavcar: Online Course and 1-on-1 Lesson Platform

About this project

Visit live site

Course platform built from scratch for an electrical engineering educator. Courses, modules and lessons with drag-and-drop curriculum ordering, tiered packages, cart and a coupon engine. Payments run on Shopier; since the provider sends no paid notification, access opens through a signature-verified webhook plus a reconciliation job every five minutes, so a missed webhook is caught by the second layer. Content protection took the most work: signed video embeds, a Redis lock that keeps one viewer per account, a moving identity watermark on video, and every PDF stamped with the student's identity. A leaked copy carries its owner. 1-on-1 lessons add an availability calendar, bookings and Zoom integration; the admin panel covers roles, audit log, refunds and versioned email templates. KVKK data-request flow included. Next.js 16, PostgreSQL with Drizzle, Bunny Stream, BullMQ, TOTP two-factor auth. Runs on a VPS via Coolify with encrypted restic backups to Cloudflare R2. 246 Vitest tests.

Challenge & Goal

The Kavcar: Online Course and 1-on-1 Lesson Platform project started around a real operational problem in the edtech space. At discovery we mapped the client's daily workflow, bottlenecks, and measurable success criteria. The goal was to remove manual processes and make growth sustainable through technical infrastructure.

Our Approach

For Kavcar: Online Course and 1-on-1 Lesson Platform we ran a contract-based, fixed-scope delivery. The project was broken into weekly sprints, each shipping a working demo. Client feedback landed in the product every sprint. Code, documentation, and infrastructure were fully handed over — no platform lock-in, no technical debt.

Technology

The stack was chosen to lower long-term maintenance cost and guarantee performance.

  • Next.js 15
  • React 19
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Core Web Vitals optimized

Outcomes

Primary metrics measured post-launch are below. Ongoing maintenance contracts track these over time.
