When an appointment goes unanswered on an Instagram DM, or a patient forgets to show up, it never lands on an invoice, a seat just sits empty that day. Nobody counts how often it happens, because the loss itself is invisible: the phone just rings a little less. This tool turns your weekly missed appointments or messages and your average session price into a real currency figure, with optional working-day and closed-week inputs that also surface the monthly, annual, and per-working-day total.

Once the number is on screen, the real question is how much of it was avoidable. On the booking system we built for Enes Kaplan Hair Artist, a customer picks the service, specialist, day, and time with no account or password and gets instant confirmation; the confirmation email carries an add-to-calendar button, a reminder goes out twenty-four hours ahead automatically, and the customer can cancel their own appointment up to two hours before. All three target the same root cause: forgetting, and a message that never gets answered.

This math is a starting point, not a promise: how much is actually recoverable depends on why appointments get missed in the first place, whether that's forgetting, an unanswered DM, or a double booking. If you want a similar booking flow for your own clinic or studio, our corporate website solution builds the same system for you.

Frequently asked

Are the numbers I enter saved anywhere?

No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser, doesn't connect to a server, and the numbers you enter disappear the moment you leave the page.

How is the monthly and annual total calculated?

We multiply your weekly missed count by 52/12 for the month, and by 52 minus your closed weeks for the year, then multiply that by the average price you entered. Leave the closed-weeks field blank and we assume you work every week of the year.

What happens if I don't enter my working days?

The monthly and annual totals calculate normally, only the "average loss per working day" line stays blank. That field is entirely optional.

Does this number mean I'll earn exactly that much if I build a booking system?

No, this is an estimate of the size of your current loss. How much is recoverable depends on why appointments get missed: forgetting and an unanswered message are usually what a booking flow reduces most, a double-booking or capacity problem needs a different fix.
